Spotlight- Melissa Hall

Heartie Spotlight

Melissa Hall ( @heartieshope2)

Melissa grew up in Wisconsin, but has recently moved to Fayetteville, North Carolina.  She was on fire with my Re-watch challenge this week and was very sweet to answer all my nosy questions! I hope you enjoy Hearties!

Pants " What caused the move from Wisconsin?"
Melissa "My husband is a History Teacher and the schools here needed more teachers so that is one of the main reasons we moved here. The second reason we moved here is for the warmer climate. We were not liking the cold weather so much anymore. As for me, I am a Caregiver for Home Instead Senior Care."

I wonder if he has the "scary teacher face" like our lovely Ms. Thatcher?

Pants "How did you find When Calls The Heart?"
Melissa " I found WCTH while I was watching a Hallmark Movie. There was a preview for the show and it looked like something I would be interested in watching. The show reminded me of Little House on the Prairie and I always enjoyed watching that show. Little House and WCTH are similar in that they both are family friendly shows, they both teach good values and overall they are good hearted shows. That is something that I thought was pretty great. So, I was definitely hooked after the first episode of WCTH. "

I love the messages both shows give! And who knew Nellie Olson grew up into Henry Gowen!? Sorry...I know, second chances, redemption, he's an onion. But even with all the layers, onions still have a strong odor and make you cry!

Pants "What are your favorite WCTH characters?"
Melissa "I really like all the characters on WCTH, but my 3 favorite would have to be Abigail, Elizabeth and Rosemary. These are my top 3 because I can relate to all three of them. Abigail is so sweet , has a good heart and she sees the good in others even when the person may not be the best .She also is someone that you can open up to about anything and she will listen and will be non judgmental. I feel I am the same way.
Elizabeth also is sweet and caring. She is very nurturing towards her students and other people. She is soft spoken like me, but when needed she stands up for what is right .
I love Rosemary because of her bubbly personality. Sometimes her personality can be over the top and her excitement over the top, but she truly is a genuine person. I see myself a lot in Rosemary with my bubbly personality. I also get really excited about things and passionate about things and it is sometimes hard to stop.
I was going to include your owner Lee as one of my favorite characters as well, but I didn't want to make it seem I was saying that because you as his pants are writing this blog. Lee does seem tough on the outside but definitely has a soft spot when it comes to Rosemary:) He is truly a gentleman. "

Buttering me up eh? That might help if I were a pair of tight leather pants. Just don't try powder and lotion together, I hear it makes an awful paste.

Pants " Who is your favorite couple on the show?"
Melissa "I like Jack and Elizabeth as a couple. I love their back and forth banter between each other. I love how Elizabeth blushes when she sees Jack. Seeing them together is wonderful and how they look at each other is very romantic. They are the perfect couple and I think people relate to that because everyone wants a perfect and ideal relationship. But not everything is perfect so they also portray a normal couple with some jealousy and trust issues. Also, they fight like a normal couple .   My second couple is Rosemary and Lee. They just compliment each other . They kind are like opposites attract. Lee is this serious business man and Rosemary is over the top and she sometimes has far fetched ideas, but they help each other out.. Rosemary gets Lee excited about different things. On the other side Lee is able to help Rosemary look at all angles and encourages her to think things through before she commits herself to an idea. Although, sometimes Rosemary does what she wants and that's okay too.
The couples that have surprised me the most recently are Bill and Dottie and Abigail and Pastor Frank. I really hope that Abigail and Pastor Frank can work things out. Both couples deserve the best."

Awwww, the romance, the kisses, the fights, the lack of proposals....

Pants "What are some hobbies you enjoy?"
Melissa "My hobbies are traveling, with my husband, going to the movies with my husband, and reading romance novels."

Do you watch WCTH with your husband as well? Being a history teacher, I bet he enjoys it!

Pants "Besides, WCTH, what are your top 3 tv shows?"
Melissa "When Calls the Heart is on the top of my list of shows to watch. I do also like watching The Goldbergs which reminds me of my childhood, Grey's Anatomy, and Supergirl."

I love the diversity! Imagine if we mashed them up into an 80's medical show where the star surgeon was always saving the world! And every week a stage coach rolls into town bringing a new villain to thwart her happiness! I would watch that.

Pants "Is there anything else you would like to share with the Hearties?"
Melissa " I am so happy to have found When Calls the Heart. I want to thank those wonderful ladies who started the fan page. It is really neat to be able to connect with other people who share the same passion for a show. It is truly unbelievable how one show can bring so many people together. I am so proud to be a Heartie:)"

I love being a Heartie! We truly do have something special. We even have a Papa Heartie...like Papa Smurf! Except, we aren't blue...we don't have matching hats (which could totally be arranged though) and we don't follow only one aspect of our personality. But other than that, totally like the smurfs!

Thank you Melissa for answering my questions and letting me get to know you a little better! I hope you continue to enjoy North Carolina, especially this summer...when you're a puddle!

Heartie Spotlight- Clare

Heartie Spotlight

Clare ( @clarey1225 )

Clare hails from Cleveland, Ohio. She was at a recent Ohio Heartie Party with almost 50 other Hearties! Sounds like a fun barn dance to me! Here is Clare's Heartie story!

Pants "How did you find When Calls The Heart?"
Clare "I found WCTH from my beautiful Sister-in-law, Teri. She kept telling me about the show & the Hearties for about over a year. Last summer I finally caved and started watching the show. I was hooked after the 1st episode of season 1!! ❤️❤️ "

A YEAR! It took a year for her to crack, but she did and is a wonderful addition to Team Heartie! And a huge thank you to Teri for never giving up!

Pants " What are your favorite WCTH characters?"
Clare " You'll be happy to know I really like your owner, Lee. I think Kavan is super handsome!! I enjoy Lee's sarcasm! I really like Elizabeth! I like her independence. The 3rd character I like and miss is Gabe. I would love for his character to come back. "

Sarcasm? Really? Lee? I love Elizabeth's independence too, but let's hope she still ends season 3 with a ring on a certain finger, am I right Hearties? Oh...Gabe! Where did he run off to? Did he steal Lee's motorcycle and take off?

Pants "What hobbies do you enjoy?"
Clare "Hobbies I enjoy are watching WCTH, playing card games, spending time with my family and friends, & being outside when it's warm! ☀️"

You know you're a Heartie when...You spend Monday - Saturday re-watching seasons 1 & 2 while playing Poker with friends out by the Lake.

Pants "Besides WCTH, what are your top 3 tv shows?"
Clare " My top 3 shows besides WCTH are Supernatural(love all the actors & actresses that are on both SN & WCTH), The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and The Big Bang Theory. "

Wouldn't it be fun to see Erin Krakow and Daniel Lissing on The Tonight Show? Hearties, let's make that happen! Twitter hashtag #WCTHonFallon

Pants "Is there anything else you would like to share with the Hearties?"
Clare " I'm a nanny of 3 little ones ages 5yrs, 3yrs.,& 3mo. The older ones like to watch WCTH when I have it on(I have to help get the ratings up some how, right?). They ask all sorts of questions about what is happening during the show. My Twitter handle is @clarey1225 if you would like to follow me. I love getting into Twitter Jail before the show starts so then I can enjoy the show. : )"

I love Clare's Twitter Jail strategy. She can eat cookies and drink champagne in jail while watching the show. Then by the time it's over she is out of jail and can tweet away! Genius!

Thank you Clare for answering my questions! See you in jail on Sunday!

Heartie Spotlight- Grace

Heartie Spotlight

Grace

Hearties, I have a wonderful spotlight for you! Grace hails from California and has been kind enough to answer my questions and didn't scold me for being nosy! I hope you follow and befriend her on twitter as I have.

Pants " How did you find When Calls The Heart?"
Grace "Well, last year I was watching October Kiss on the Hallmark Channel when I saw a commercial of When Calls the Heart and saw Jack Wagner and Lori Loughlin. I did see the other actors but didn't know who they were!! Then I read an article in the Los Angeles Times Calendar section about When Calls the Heart. On December 26, I watched the season 3 New Years Wishes and after that I did my research online to look for Season 1 & 2. I found them on iTunes and purchased all of the seasons and also I purchased the season pass 3 for when calls the heart."

From October Kiss to the New Year's Kiss to Heartie! Glad to have you on the team Grace!

Pants "Who are your favorite WCTH characters?"
Grace "Lee Coulter, Rosemary LeVeaux, Bill Avery, Abigail Stanton, Clara Stanton, Jesse, Pastor Frank Hogan, Wade, Hickam, and Nora."
Pants " Who is your favorite couple?"
Grace "Lee & Rosemary is my favorite couple, then Abigail & Frank"

Grace is Team Frabigail! I am really enjoying their romance as well. So intrigued to see where it will all lead! Will she stay with Frank, or can something drastic happen to send her back to Bill?

Pants "What hobbies do you enjoy?"
Grace "Jigsaw puzzles, coloring & baking"

All of these things sound very relaxing and good for the soul Grace!

Pants " Besides WCTH, what are your top 3 tv shows?"
Grace "Once Upon A Time, Castle and Grey's Anatomy"

I love the variety! Everyone can become a Heartie!

Pants "Is there anything else you would like to share with the Hearties?"
Grace "I have enjoyed watching When Calls The Heart since last year and I wanted to share something with you. When I was watching season one episode seven "second chances" about how Elizabeth Thatcher helped one of her students how to read, pronounce words. That reminded of me when I was having difficulty in school. It has brought tears to my eyes when watching this episode.
When I was in the first grade I couldn't understand words or I couldn't pronounce words. My first grade teacher, Miss. FairFax sent a letter to my parents letting them know about my learning disabilities. Miss. FairFax told my parents I needed a special teacher and the school would help find someone for me. I was introduced to a lady name Mrs. Bear she help me through first grade to fifth grade. But now that we have computers to correct me from spelling out words it has help me a lot. Like correcting my grammar and spelling and errors. I have noticed that when I used the wrong word on the Fan page they tend to correct me. I still get confused with words like Their, There, Where, Were.

I also wanted to share something with the Hearties. I am disable and cannot walk. But I hope one day I could walk again and do all the fun things I did before.
I only have one best friend who has been my friend since grade school to high school. She has been my best friend and she now watches When Calls the Heart with her family!!!"

This is such a heart warming story. I'm sure we each have an episode of WCTH that really touched us, or taught us! The storylines grip you and you become one with the characters, which is why when you watch one episode becoming a Heartie follows quickly! With talking with Grace I was impressed by her strong spirit and how she has overcome obstacles all her life and has never given up. She is a strong woman with a strong spirit and I'm so glad I was able to share her story with you!

Thank you, Grace.

Heartie Spotlight- Heather Scott

Weekend Heartie Spotlight

Heather Scott ( @HeatherScott85)

Heather was another winner of my live-viewing challenge this week and graciously answered some questions and shared some of her fan art!  She is from Southern Kentucky.

Pants "How did you find When Calls The Heart?"
Heather "I found When Calls the Heart by watching the original movie. I was so disappointed with the way it ended, then I saw Hallmark had a tv series by the same name , so I've been hooked from the very beginning."
Pants "Are you one of the original Hearties?"
Heather " I'm not one of the 5 original hearties, but I'm thankful everyday for those wonderful ladies who started the #hearties group and for the wonderful friendships & hearties family."

Heather is definitely a Heartie for life! We are so thankful to all the Hearties who have been fans from the beginning and helped build a foundation in which we can continue to grow upon today.

Pants "Who are your favorite characters in WCTH?"
Heather " I adore Emily & Opal. Molly & Florence are 2 of my absolute favorites. Of course I love Jack & Elizabeth. And even though most don't like him I just love Gowen. I'm loving Rosemary & Lee story line this season and my new favorites are Clara & Jesse storyline.
Pants "What is it that you love about Gowen? And do you think he can be redeemed?"
Heather "I think it's that under all that rough sarcasm that he has a sweet soft side that shows and yes I think he can be redeemed. There's more to his story and I think it'd be connected to Nora about why he is the way he is. I hope the writers show us why Gowen has to feel like he has to be the Villain of Hope Valley."
Pants " Me too. Do you think he is behind the Saw Mill Sabotage?"
Heather "I want to say no but he may have a hand in it, I think that maybe Wade the new foreman has something to do with it. It seems to all start when he was hired."
Pants "I think he could be a great Mayor of Hope Valley and a good leader if he didn't need to be the only one with any power. I hope Nora can help him achieve that!"
Heather "Yes, Gowen would be but I think something happened in his younger days that makes him think he needs the power, that he's powerless without being in control."

She has some very good insights to our Mayor Gowen!Time will tell Hearties! Maybe we will get some answers this Sunday!
Here is some of Heather's fan art of her favorite characters. Thank you for sharing!

Opal really does steal the scenes doesn't she?

Pants "What are some hobbies you enjoy?"
Heather" My hobbies. Hmm I love to craft , I actually have a small side business were I make wreaths & door hangers, and I've done decorations for 4 weddings. I just love making something that'll make people smile. "

Wow! Hearties, call Heather if you are getting married...did you hear that Elizabeth!? Do you do plaid?

Pants " Besides WCTH, what are your top 3 tv shows?"
Heather "My other favorite TV shows would be , seriously it's basically When Calls the Heart. And I love the Love comes softly series."

That is the correct answer Heather! Ha ha...no seriously though, just watch When Calls The Heart. There is nothing happening on any other show. If you want zombies, Richard Manning is working on it.

Pants "Is there anything else you would like to share with the Hearties?"
Heather " I just love our #hearties family. You guys are just awesome."

Heather, you are awesome too! We really do have the best fandom out there!
Thank you again for answering my questions and the wonderful art!

Friday Spotlight-Joann Mattei

Friday's Heartie Spotlight

Joann Mattei (@jomattei18)

Joann was one of the winners of my Live-Viewing Challenge this week and very graciously answered some questions.  She hails from West Caldwell, New Jersey and here is her Heartie story.

Pants "How did you find When Calls The Heart?"
Joann "My wonderful husband of 27 years actually found WCTH on Netflix for me. He knows how much I love historical romance so he's always on the lookout for films or tv shows that would indulge the hopeless romantic in me. What makes this discovery so special to me is that he binge watched both seasons with me within a matter of days! ❤️ Needless to say, I was hooked within 5 minutes, and became a #Heartie quickly after that."

Now that is a loving husband Hearties! And again we have our best friend Netflix at work for the cause!

Pants "What is your favorite character (s) from WCTH?"
Joann" I have so many characters that I love on the show but Jack and Elizabeth hold a special place in my heart. I have always believed in good old fashioned courting and romance where in the end boy gets girl, it's that simple for me, since I was blessed enough to have experienced that myself. My hubby and I met 30 years ago when I was in Italy on vacation, we wrote the most beautiful letters to each before going back there to get married 2 years later. So you see, I understand a thing or two on love at first sight and the trials that go along with a long distance romance. I figured if we could cross oceans,Jack and Elizabeth could make it through anything also! Although I can't deny that the twists and turns have to happen to keep us coming back for more. I so admire the qualities in Jack starting with his loyalty to protect Hope Valley and love for his Elizabeth when he built her the schoolhouse. In turn Elizabeth is such a sweet, kind and wonderful role model for her students and I've been able to relate her lessons to our own classroom in this day and age . Abigail also comes to mind when I think of a thoughtful, strong and nurturing woman. Who wouldn't want her for their mother? WCTH has such beautiful lessons in their storylines and at the end of the day, you just feel good after you've watched one or ten episodes in a row. My hope is for WCTH to continue first for season 4, and then for many years to come. It would truly be a keepsake to pass onto generations to come."

Sounds like Joann could find a job on the writing team at When Calls The Heart! Jack and Elizabeth could do with writing some love letters!
I agree Joann! When Calls The Heart will be among the great shows our
children will watch with their children! Move over Dr. Quinn! Here comes Constable Thornton! Wonderful examples of character and fashion!

Pants "What hobbies do you enjoy?"
Joann " I enjoy spending time reading, traveling, cooking, baking and most of all spending time with the people I love."

Hearties, that is an impressive list! Maybe Joann can give Elizabeth some cooking lessons since Abigail is so busy with Cody!

Pants "Where is your favorite place to travel?"
Joann "Probably Italy since I have a house there, and I met the love of my life there."

All Hearties on 3: 1, 2, 3...Awwwwww!

Pants "Besides WCTH, what are your top 3 tv shows?"
Joann "Some of my other favorite tv shows include The Middle, Parenthood and Friends, of course I can't leave out Everyone Loves Raymond since I am 100% Italian ."

Sounds like Joann has a great sense of humor! And 100% Italian means the cooking she loves to do is going to be YUMMY!

Pants "Is there anything else you would like to share with the Hearties?"
Joann "I have two grown boys, one of which is an undergraduate and the other earning a PHD, which essentially makes me an empty nester but I don't use that word. This is another transition and growing experience in life. Along with that came When Calls the Heart. ❤️"

Joann, sounds like you should be one proud momma! Are either of your boys single? There is a very nice nurse we would like to introduce them to!
I'm so happy that you were able to find When Calls The Heart and  you are now a part of our fun family of Hearties!  Thank you for answering my questions and letting me share your Heartie story.

Hearties it sounds like we should all go on over to Joann's house one Sunday! She has plenty of room and loves to cook!

International Heartie Spotlight- Evelyn Meyer

International Heartie Spotlight
Evelyn Meyer ( @Emeyer2610)

Each week I am hoping to Spotlight one of our International Hearties.  They often have to think outside of the box to view current episodes! Let's celebrate them!  Evelyn was gracious enough to answer my questions so that I could share her story with you!

Pants " Where do you live?"
Evelyn "I live in St. Louis, but I am originally from Germany, from Linkenheim, which is a smaller town about 10 miles north of Karlsruhe, a larger city on the northern edge of the beautiful Black Forest in South Western Germany."

Sounds beautiful Hearties! Send a tweet to @Emeyer2610 and myself if you've ever been to Germany! #InternationalHearties

Pants "How did you find When Calls The Heart?"
Evelyn "Netflix suggested it to me. That was very kind of it and for once it was right on the mark of what I would LOVE watching. ☺"

Netflix can be so sweet! And the way it will just play the next episode for you! Very helpful!

Pants" What are you favorite characters from WCTH?"
Evelyn "That is a really tough one. I love them all, but of course for very different reasons.
I love Abigail’s courage and strength. I love Elizabeth, the teacher. I am an educator and will steal some of her teaching methods! And she’s funny and witty, and I love how she now fits into Hope Valley and knows who she is, not just what she wants. I love Jack! But then who doesn’t! Integrity, courage, strength, tenderness, hilarious sense of humor. Oh, but wait, where was he to make my knees feel better after I fell not so long ago? Nowhere in sight! ☹ I love Molly and Rosaleen-that episode from season 1 was so touching and moving! I want more of them! I love Florence, despite her meddling and gossipy ways, she is so genuine! Rosemary and Lee, they crack me up, so sassy, but their romance is also so tender! Hickam needs to stand up to Rosemary and just say “NO!!!!!”, but I laugh a lot at how he always wants to please her. The Hope Valley Kids-I love them all, esp. Emily, Opal, Cody, Rosaleen, Gabe, Laura- ah, to be a kid again! Clara and Jesse: Clara is really coming into her own and developing inner strength and the effect she has on Jesse, oh my! Lots of good eye-staring! Hey, where is Ned Yost in Season 3? Miss him! He needs more than just mercantile stories! Bill-intrigued by what he will do in Season 3 now that he gave up being a Mountie. Mayor Gowen-I’d hate his guts in real life, but I love him on the show. I wonder what all his deep dark secrets are. I’m glad Abigail rallied the town around Pastor Frank! and Elizabeth’s lesson for Mayor Gowen, oh my! That was most excellent! Frank is a very good pastor, and we all have a past! And Nurse Faith Carter can be my nurse anytime I’m sick! thankfully, that is not all too often. And Charles, he’s a good man, perfect for Hamilton. I had no issue with him, well, except for that proposal thingy at the end of season 2-even though I totally get why he proposed. Come on, who wouldn’t want to propose to the lovely Elizabeth Thatcher! I hope that Dottie will come into her own, free from the shadows of the men who have been over her. And I miss Cat Montgommery! And whomever I forgot to mention above, it’s not you! I really love you too-blame my faulty memory! it can handle it!"

I would like to add...NOTHING! Evelyn said it perfectly! These characters grip you and make you keep watching!

Pants "Besides WCTH, what are your 3 favorite TV shows?
Evelyn "I grew up entirely without TV, so even to this day, I don’t watch much TV and until recently, intentionally did not have cable TV. But I wanted to be able to watch WCTH when it aired and not have to wait until a later time, so I got cable TV right before Christmas. So the only shows I’ve really gotten behind recently are WCTH and Downton Abbey. Too bad it has come to an end. And Fuller House, if you can count it as a TV show, since it’s released on Netflix. And I wish I could watch the German TV program “Tatort” more often than I can, but international rights and living a continent away-complicated!"

I'm sure Netflix will continue to point you in the right direction!

Pants "What hobbies do you enjoy?
Evelyn "I read, run, paint, sketch, knit, bake, cook, spending time with my friends, travel, explore new languages and cultures, spend time outdoors in our beautiful nature, play with my cat, the lovely Countess ChloƩ Cat.
When Calls the Heart has inspired me to pick up painting again, since November I’ve painted 9 watercolors and a silk scarf. I have a lot more ideas, but this is a very busy semester. Boo!"

Boo Indeed! I would love to see some of these WCTH inspired watercolors!

Pants "Do you watch WCTH with anyone?"
Evelyn "Usually alone on Sundays, well, alone with my cat, if she chooses to join me. But I do discuss the episode with my friend who is never in town for the weekend, i.e. we don’t get to watch the show together. And some other friends are still playing catch up. But they are now in Season 2. Recently, when I can, I started watching it on Mondays, when the are able to watch it together. It’s their evening, but it’s in the middle of the day for me, so I can’t always do that with them. But it’s great fun to watch simultaneously with them, since we watch it in English, but chat about it in German through at the same time. So far the language confusion has remained minimal. "

This is wonderful! Hearties if you haven't discovered the Hearties of Germany, please reach out! They have a facebook page and are on twitter. They are very sweet!

Pants "Is there anything else you would like to share with the Hearties?"
Evelyn "Follow your hearts to Sundays and get all your friends to follow along with you! After all, we do want WCTH to continue on for a very long time, but let’s work on getting Season 4 first! Follow your dreams and what you are passionate about and be grateful for all your blessings! And be prepared for the path that takes you into another direction than you planned. I never imagined staying in the US, more than that original 1-year study abroad. Then I was going to get the heck out of here and go back home to Europe. But that year transformed me and led me into a different direction, one that has been very good! It didn’t come without sacrifices, but the blessings far outweigh them. Be open to where life’s road takes you and don’t over plan your life.
And thank you to the fabulous creators and writers and the production team behind When calls the Heart, esp. Brian Bird and Michael Landon Jr.!"

A wonderful thing about life is discovering where our path will take us! Of course there will be bumps but the blessings will be there Hearties! And of course we know our Hearts will lead us to Sundays! Keep sharing, keep tweeting, let's keep expanding the Hearties! We are all over the globe and we can soon take over the world...well ok, maybe just Sunday night ratings!

Thank you Evelyn for answering my questions and sharing your journey with me.

Heartie Spotlight- Jody Naus

Friday's Heartie Spotlight

Jody Naus (@JodyNaus)

Jody hails from Santa Clarita, California and she kindly answered my questions in my attempt to bring Hearties together and share our stories a little more intimately...a little more Hope Valley style.

Pants "How did you find When Calls The Heart?"
Jody "I found the show on Netflix, watched the first two seasons in four days, and then searched online for additional episodes...that's where I found a whole new world...Hearties!"

4 DAYS HEARTIES!!!

Pants" Who is your favorite character(s) from the show?
Jody "I love the Elizabeth character. I identify with her in many ways... She's stubborn, transitioning to a new life, not afraid to speak her mind, and a teacher."

Elizabeth has transitioned well and I like that she seems to know who she is now, and who she wants!

Pants "Besides WCTH, What are your top 3 TV shows?"
Jody "Call The Midwife, Downton, and Modern Family"

Hearties, I think the Downton Abbey audience are easy recruits! We don't have Lady Mary, but we do have Feisty Florence!

Pants" What are some of your hobbies?"
Jody" I am an avid knitter, I am never without a good book to read, and I'm a word nerd...I love Scrabble!"

Hearties, Jody is my Pun Partner on Twitter...so the word nerd came as no surprise to me! Look up some of our exchanges they are SEW brilliant!

Pants "Do you watch the show with anyone?"
Jody "I watch the show with Dudley Do-Right, my yellow lab"

Awww! I love dogs! They are very good viewing company indeed!

Pants " Is there anything else you would like to share with the Hearties?"
Jody "If the last 2 years of my life were a WCTH episode, it would be titled "Heartache." My husband has been battling Viral Congestive Heart Failure, and it has forever changed our lives. I was in a sad, dark place when I discovered WCTH in January 2016. For reasons I can't explain, this show resonated deeply with me...it woke me up from a long depression and reminded me that having active hope and faith is a CHOICE! I'm incredibly thankful that Mr. Bird and Mr. Landon created a show that literally "called to my heart."

We all have stories and we all have times in our lives where something wakes us up and resonates with us.  I'm thankful that Jody found WCTH, and that she has found the Hearties and the Pants!  Let's keep up our hard work and get a season 4 so that Mr. Bird can create even more stories for us to hold close to our Hearts!

Thank you Jody, for answering my questions and for tweeting with me!
